The Invisibles - Conversation

An honest smile can be as solid as a castle made of sand
Attaching happiness to less windy days

A double life can be the hand that leads the final hurricane
And blurs the reasons why you are still around

Bringing back forbidden times that we've been trying hard to
leave behind
But never seem to really go away

What if there's no other way and I can never be ok?
Well I can live my whole life just trying again
Save it for a better day or make it all just go away
'Cause I don't need new reasons to cry here, after all
Should I let myself become the one who'll let down here?
Well I think it's time we have a conversation

A lukewarm life can be as tragic as a rainy holiday
Attaching loneliness to staying inside

An awkward smile can be the sign that shows that you're going
away
And I have to find out how I can bring you back

Singing that familiar rhyme we've written through the pages of
our lives
Hoping it would make sense again someday

What if there's no other way and I can never be ok?
Well I can live my whole life just trying again
Save it for a better day or make it all just go away
'Cause I don't need new reasons to cry here, after all
Should I let myself become the one who'll let down here?
Well I think it's time we have a conversation

If there's a good scene can't we make it last forever?
Another day that you've spent trying to make it right
If there's a bright eye can't we let it shine forever?
Another day and you've been close to say goodbye
But if there's something wrong there must be some way to make it
right
To try and fix the imperfections hidden behind the lies
But if there's no good I can do I still can wait for you
And wonder when the wind blew you away from me
Paint this as a better day, 'cause we can not afford to wait
And I can't have a good day without you by my side
